Angela Reid is an elected City Councillor in the City of Kelowna and the former Deputy Leader for the Green Party of British Columbia, a position she held from 2007 to 2009. Angela was elected to the Green Party of Canada Federal Council in 2006, where she served for two years, and is the CEO of the Kelowna Federal Green Party. She has run for the Green Party in five elections, two provincial and three federal. Angela is also a co-founder of the Okanagan Greens, a non-profit, non-partisan society focused on enhancing the local quality of life.

Angela is the President of Tigress Ventures, with the vision to "influence positive change for a world where people, business and the environment thrive in balance with each other." The current focus for her company is alternative energy and clients/projects that measurably reduce green house gas emissions. She is also the CEO of GreenStep Sustainability Coaching, a consulting firm that helps businesses understand and apply sustainability principles.
She worked for the City of Kelowna as part of the team to raise over $1 Million to build the Mission Creek Greenway and worked with the Return of the Peregrine Falcon Society to reintroduce an endangered species to the Okanagan. She has served on the board for Theatre Kelowna Society and HOSOTO House Society, and is a member of JCI Okanagan (Junior Chamber of Commerce). As a young adult, she traveled to Mexico twice to build homes for impoverished families, and was crowned Miss Kelowna, Lady of the Lake in 1994.
Provincial: 10.9% Kelowna-Mission in 2001. 10% in Okanagan-Westside in 2005.
Federal: 5% in Burlington (electoral district) in 2004, 8% in Kelowna-Lake Country in 2006 and 13.72% in Kelowna-Lake Country in 2008.
Angela won a Kelowna City Council council seat November 15, 2008 finishing 5th with 5.44% and 6213 votes.
